HOLIDAY SEASON
"Merry Christmas” to
all of the Little Peoples Landing Family! We would like to thank all of our families for allowing us to care for
their children and we are looking forward to another great year with your loved
ones.
WINTER SAFETY
Winter is upon us and with it brings less light and more
night time. This means that it may be
dark when you are dropping and picking up your child(ren), so please be extra
careful in the parking lots and drive very slow.
Parents, please be careful whenever we have snow on the
ground. We are contracted to have the
snow removed by 6:30am and the first employee to arrive will shovel the dock
area. However, because of the cold
temperatures the ice melt may not have had a chance to work and there may be
some slippery spots. Many times the
parking lots are icy-SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL.
SATURDAY SHOPPING DAY One Saturday per year, in December, we open
all the schools for an afternoon so parents have an opportunity to Christmas
shop, wrap presents, see a movie, or do whatever they please, child-free. This event usually coincides with that month
Parents Night Out. Dates vary from
school to school

served a hot breakfast before they get picked up. See your Director for details.
"We must be the epitome-the
embodiment-of success. We must radiate success before it will come to us. We
must first become mentally, from an attitude standpoint, the people we wish to
become.”

Why We.........
This section is intended to better
communicate with our parents and explain to them why we do some of the things
that we do.
………………….Have a Ski Trip
We know that many of our parents
are either too busy or are not inclined to teach their children to ski. However, they would like to expose their
child to the sport. In December,
January, February, or March each year (if there is interest we go twice during
the ski season) we take a group of children to Loveland Valley ski school for
an all day ski lesson. This way the
child is exposed to the sport of skiing by a professional ski instructor and is
able to learn the basics through intermediate skiing. We try to schedule the ski trip on a
"minimal” school so we disrupt school as little as possible, however, that is
not always possible.
